Columbia Sportswear - Logo

The project for Columbia Sportswear was one of the first projects I had as a freelancer. I was lucky enough to have a connection there from the days of working at Dark Horse Comics. He and I had worked together on a few logo projects and he knew I could give him a rendering of their simple line logo. They were looking for something to use for ads, apparel and the future of their Titanium line. I did a few samples, but we ended up thinking a polished steel look would be what was wanted. Back then there were no options to keep it vector and get this look without potential issues, so it was completely made in Adobe Photoshop.

After the project was completed I was happy to see it on all of the Columbia Sportswear Titanium clothing hangtags for some quite some time.
